my home for the holidays

One of the first things that gets me in the Christmas spirit is decorating my home. Here are a few pictures of what I surround myself with this time of year! Fresh greens, pine cones, home made stockings, ornaments, ribbon and garland and I'm set for a festive feeling!

{I keep a lot of my "every day" decor out and just jazz it up with sparkle to make it seasonal!}

How do you spread the holiday cheer around your home? How do you make it festive while keeping it easy on yourself? I'd love to hear and see what you do to decorate your home for the holidays!

LOVELY! I love the fresh greens in the fireplace....nice!
I do much the same thing you do...add to existing decor with festive touches...and then a few areas are totally "wintered up"! I use shades of pink and green and purple.
Wishing you a most Merry Christmas, April!

Kathleen, thanks for reading and for your compliments. I enjoy creating new decor each holiday...and sharing it is half the fun!

Beautiful! I love all the greenery. And this is not holiday-related, but I love that orange lamp on your entry table!
